Somehow Sky Malaysia is closed due to Health Inspectors Boss Wedding (congratulations), so this shall be the first meal to welcome me back.
Weirdly my mates want out despite them defrosting nuggies hours beforehand, sure.
The rice is a little dry, but quite alot of chicken (at least 10) & they're decently sized.
Seems like I had it 2 years ago. It does indeed not have much sauce. (GrabFood price is now 14.50)
I'd take Dapur, but that's easily +30% price wise, also no drinks.
It seems that I could ask for more rice, I just need to voice out.
New thing, and it's cheaper than the Thai one.
Last seen 12 Jun 2025.
There's a "set menu" where for +rm2, I'd get a choice of 2 drinks. Unsure if free flow or not, but we will get to that later.
A fine & flavourful fried rice, though some parts may be more flavourful than others, which means slightly not even.
Wanting to try new things, this is regret.
The return of the classic.
The taste of the sauce is better than RYM, there's also at least 14 that may or may not be bite sized. Def smaller.
Realised it was Friday, which means prayers. Had to speedrun go down and invoked the mop-wielder's wrath in the process.
Sky was open, asked for their Penyet, nada. 4th time this week with AS then.
My indesiciveness sent me here, otherwise I'd be eating something cheaper (as they have yet to come down).
Been a while since I had these style of ordering.
Day 2 of Sky not having penyet, and I didn't want to eat AS for the fifth time in six days.
After a botched non-existent dry run for Codenection 2025, and an offer to return before 9pm, I return to the classics.
They did take a while, assuming their roti chef wasn't here yet.
Tastes the same as always, with the dhal being a little too beany, and the sambal having a slight hint of ginger.
I should ask if adding more sauces was an option, along with trying out an option called calling satay to pair with white rice.
My calculations say it would cost around 6.5 to 8 (assuming 3-4 sticks of chicken).
I already ate my usuals prior, so this is a sweet addition for the day to keep me energised, and to prevent me from freezing up in the hall.
Per usual, the cream is quite alot going through, but lacking at the tips.
Good cream, would order again once in a while.
CodeNection 2025 midway point, and it's food time.
Oh, there's food remaining. Why not take it back and eat it.
Was thinking of microwaving it, but fear of a certain pink entity.
Stil edible, just cold. Also there's enough sambal to last a 2nd serving.
Felt like 1 was not enough (during lunch), so gambled by taking a 2nd one.
In hindsight, it was fine, and I managed to finish it with slight difficulty as it was indeed, quite alot. Especially since I ate around 5:30pm.
I wonder if I'll go hungry anyways...
Skipped breakfast & had a snack to get more of my money worth.
Went at 11:50am, said prep at 12, waited until 12:22pm where they asked for my order again, came at 12:28pm.
3 bowls of rice was not fun. Still feeling not hungry despite being dinner time, took a small walk even.
Asked Gemini to choose my meal, and it insists I take a Shawarma, depsite being the more expensive option (was thinking of Sky prices). Went here instead as I remember it also serves it.
Didn't know they gave free drinks, which is a bigger plus, on top of being cheaper than sky.
On the kinda advice from Gemini, decided to take a lighter approach for lunch, even though that may mean hunger.
Mates decided to all have dinner here as a Mutiara boi wants to eat here as it's been a while.
Checked back my logs, decided sosej as my go to.
They probably had this when I ate membawang.
There's none of my favoured preferred meats, I'll take this then.
8, post discount, 7.20.
They served me a wrong dish at first (see Part 1 below). This came a bit later. I finished this & skipped the below for that time being.
It is very biasa looking.
Bois wanted here, followed. Breast, per usual.
It seems Koyori forgot to write tofu exclusive. Welp. Received 1 big leaf but no cucumbers?
Keli will take a while, and it's more expensive. Does it give more meat vs quarter chicken?
4 people didn't take their greens. Angy.
My bois seem to want to eat this, it is the same stall as I went months ago.
Has it improved? It listened to my asing, so that's good.
Price is the same, with 5 base, and 4 for the spiced fried chicken, thigh.
There was a slight debate in me whether to eat Kahwin, or this. This restaurant is rarer for me to eat for dinner.
I assume the rotis are for breakfast, so let's have this one.
Huh, they allowed us to go into the food section to take our own. Neat?
Wanting to compare sosej and regular.
? There's no cucumber again, despite there being cucumber.
They ran out of forks entirely, I managed to all the remaining spoons & kept 1 for myself while sharing the others to my mates.
Per usual, dada remark. Though had to request tempe swap on the spot as they didn't wanna write it (they still asked for swap anyways).
...Why is this tofu burnt? And not just one, TWO??
Tomorrow seems to be McD. So they decided to go for cheaper meals (Hinz is noted to be expensive, and Benon doesn't like RYM.)
Debating between Roti John (long bread) and rice, I chose the safer (cheaper) option.
I didn't want to have bawang again, and I've had other stalls before. Herrscher told me there's a chicken rice stall, so let's go for it.
This year seems cheaper? At least versus last year. No cup though on my end.
I peeked into their dhal and it seems the green thing is gone. So let's return to you.
I'd say dhal is overall better here, less beany vs Chilli. But weird for them to not give any curry. I also finished all the sauces before all the roti.
May I ask for more?
My dumahh thought GX still gave rewards, but it was min spend rm5 for QR. This is 4.
I checked their hot chicken counter and there's the quarter chicken. Maybe it's that one.
Ordered, and it is. For some reason they asked me if I wanted white rice, maybe let's ask what other rice options are there in the future.
Tastes just the ame as I last had you months ago.
It'd be best to order this less frequently compared to 7.50 nasi kandar, but the quality here is consistent thus far.
Due to this being 9, attempted GX QR again, received reward, life good.
Ordering Tomyam for old times sake, it seems I needed to note down things.
No class as it had been replaced 17/11.
Hm, they're back to manning it themselves. Asked for fresh chicken, unsure what was said, so I pointed to the biggest one.
The bois went to eat "Rice to Wednesday", this is cheaper and newer, might as well support "small businesses".
The solo seats are quite hot despite under A/C, not recommended.
The bois are having something else, I like consistency (until otherwise).
Counted, around 14 pieces.
